Use Instructions

Use Guide

These double-side scrub pads work with your choice of interior cleaner to quickly and easily clean your car's interior. They are safe on surfaces like vinyl, plastic, and leather. Specifically, these scrub pads can be used on leather seats, steering wheels, dashboards, center consoles, door panels, and plastic/vinyl trim.

In most cases, interior cleaner will be the safest chemical cleaner to use with the scrub pad on your interior. When cleaning leather, you may opt for a leather cleaner instead, but keep in mind that interior cleaner can be used for everything including leather. Using a diluted all-purpose cleaner is also possible, as long as you follow the recommended dilution ratio for cleaning car interiors. We personally don't recommend using an all-purpose cleaner because there is a chance of improper dilution ratio or improper use, which leads to chemical damage to your car's interior. Stick with interior cleaners, or leather cleaner if you are cleaning leather.

When spraying your interior cleaner product, don't spray it onto the surface. We know it looks cool for the 'gram, but if left too long on any surface, it may burn into the surface leaving you with overspray that will be difficult to remove. And face it, we don't always wipe up every bit of overspray.

The best way to apply the interior cleaner is to spray it directly into the scrub pad. This way, you avoid overspray, and you're able to use every bit of product since it's already on your cleaning pad. Then, scrub the surface until a lather forms. This lather will be a mix of soap and dirty contaminants that have been pulled from the surface.

Then take a microfiber towel and wipe away the dirty foamy mixture. This ensures that you're actively removing the dirty gunk from the surface, rather than continuing to scrub it all around on the surface that you're trying to clean. Repeat this process until you've cleaned everything.

Finally, please avoid using this on surfaces such as piano/gloss black surfaces, touch screens, or anywhere on the exterior of a car. The nylon bristles can create microscratches if you use the scrub pads on these types of surfaces. Only use on the car interior and keep it away from fine finish surfaces like those mentioned.

Care Guide

Care Guide

The Detail Armory Double-Sided Scrub Pad is ready to use right out of the bag. Since this product is reusable, it can be cleaned and reused over and over again. The only care that the product needs is rinsing and drying after use.

Cleaning & Drying

After you've used the scrub pad, simply use water to rinse out the pad. If it is very dirty, you can use the very same interior cleaner or diluted all-purpose cleaner that you would use for the interior, to clean the pad out.

Then, gently squeeze it dry. When you squeeze it and you still see soap suds, continue to clean it with water until it runs out clear. Once it is fully clean, gently squeeze dry.

Finally, leave the scrub pad out to air dry until its next use.
